Has anyone been REPORTED AND BANNED for gold buying?

I don't mean just banned for buying gold but REPORTED AND banned for it. I was buying gold through the auction house, which I was told is safer than others, and a warrior realised that I had put up a stack of guzzard guts item for 2k to buy gold and stated that he had reported me for buying gold.

I am kind of concerned as I had not expected anyone to see a strange item on the auction house and actually spend their time writing a report, which I can only assume he did.

Do you think I'll possibly be banned for this?

AFAIK Blizzard doesn't ban gold BUYERS for various reasons (it contributes to stabilizing the economy, etc etc) unless you buy severe amounts, so you should be safe.

Yep. I bought once for my friend and his account got banned for gold purchasing. Oh well.

I've gotten a ban on 1 account for buying gold and 2 accounts for selling it to gold farmers.

EDIT: Since I've been selling to MMOwned (Ownedcore) members I've had 0 issues on buying/selling it now.
