Brack: There's one more piece which is an announcement that we're releasing a rogue legendary weapon. Specific for rogues, so it will be a dagger. There will be some sort of quest, traditionally we've done these quests that players need to participate in order to create the legendary weapon in this case we'll be focusing on rogues that will try to make that happen.

Tito: Do you know what it's called yet?

Brack: We do not?

Tito: How does it fit into the lore?

Brack: We haven't decided on the name and how it's going to work, we just know that we really want a legendary weapon to come out of this tier and we really want it to be a rogue dagger. That's really all we know at this point. As time goes on we get a lot more lore, a lot more story, an "in" to the creation of all the legendary weapons. We really did a lot with the legendary axe that you got out of Lich King and then we've had other legendaries with the Cataclysm tiers that have had these storylines, we're hoping this one's going to be the most exciting, the most epic legendary quest line.

Tito: I'm sure that'll make all of the rogue's happy."

Let's do a count on who can use what legendaries in the game (not including the temp ones from TK, or the ones that are impossible to get anymore.)

Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest (Staff): Druid, Mage, Priest, Shaman, Warlock.

Shadowmourne (2 Handed Axe): Death Knight, Paladin, Warrior.

Val'anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings (1 Handed Mace): Priests, Shamans, Druids. If other classes can loot the fragments from the bosses, they can get this as well, but they can't, for now.

Warglaive of Azzinoth (Need to Dual Wield 2 swords): Death Knight, Rogue, Warrior.

Thori'dal, the Stars' Fury (Bow): Hunter, Rogue, Warrior

Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros (2 Handed Mace): Druid, Death Knight, Paladin, Warrior, Shaman

Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker (1 Hand Sword): Death Knight, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Rogue, Warlock, Warrior

Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian (Staff, removed from game): Druid, Mage, Priest, Warlock

And the grand totals are (without the removed legendaries): Death knight 4 · Druid 3 · Hunter 2 · Mage 2 · Paladin 3 · Priest 2 · Rogue 3 · Shaman 3 · Warlock 2 · Warrior 5

So if you're gonna hate on any class, hate on warriors. Rogues haven't had a legendary since BC.

Also, all the other classes got one between Ulduar and Firelands, except hunters. So poor hunters.

Edit: Prove Ashbringer was ever IN game. Datamined garbage off wowhead isnt proof. prove that at any point it was a player available drop.

I myself am gathering the mats for Thunderfury and Sulfuras, the problem is that my main which is a lock can't wield Sulfuras...so that's not fun where we have a Warrior that can wield almost every legendary in the game. That really isn't fair at all.

Well the usual argument against ferals ever using Sulfuras would be: Who played ferals in vanilla?! :S Resto was the only spec for Druids...
