Is blizzard harsh on bug abusers?

im no stranger to bug abusing and i am thinking about starting to exploit on world of warcraft because ive pretty much done we you can think of on runescape..
Yet i dunno if its worth the efford.. i used to get away with bug abusing by reporting them whenever they get massleaked so there was only a few persons using them and it seems like leaking is THE thing to do here.

so my question is: is world of warcraft harsh on bug abusers?

Well, I wouldn't call it "harsh", but yes, they can get mad sometimes. I got caught bug abusing twice, different accounts, different IP's. Neither of them had received any warning before hand. My first account got a warning, while my second one got a 24 hour ban. It depends on the GM that is handling it, sometimes they don't care, sometimes they do. But, bug abusing should be fine as long as you don't go too public with it (ex. bug abusing in BG's)

Blizzard is completely random with it. One of the biggest bugs in wow to date MMR abusing NOBODY was banned, not even the 3.4k russian team. Heck even Hydra a rank 1 priest, possibly the best priest in the world that had every single rank one acheive since season one lost his season 9 title/mount(After holding it all season) to mmr abusers. The mounts were not taken off them, and they were not punished.. In bc I was suspended for going under stormwind >.>

i stepped on a beetle yesterday, i'm a bug abuser

i was using the Potion of illusing + lifgivnig seed (in conjunction with the Bom'bay Double Grow buff bug) to make my character so rediculously huge that i took up the entire open space in the Valley of Strength in orgrimmar (no seriously)

diddnt even get a GM message saying "hey quit that"

Called someone who had an 85 horde and alliance who was logging into his horde for Tol Barad and feeding us bad info to make sure we lost a "@#$%wit" (idk what ownedcore's language policy is.) and got a very minor suspension. something like 4 hours.

BLizzard has no consistancy. i blame activi$ion.
