Help getting an account unbanned

A buddy of mine wants to start playing again, he got perma banned for a first offense using gathermate or something similar. He only botted at work, so the ip that got picked up was his work IP, and every time he botted he only did so at work I am hoping that is gonna make this an easier fix. This also happened a few months back, if anyone knows anyone that could help, or any information anyone has that may help would be greatly appreciated.

Just tell them that your buddy had to stop playing for a few months due to RL situation, and when he decided to come back, he found out his account was compromised AND he was banned. try to say that the moment he started botting was when he got hacked or w/e
