Question for graphic designers

What is the best way to get a picture of a model doing an emote with a blank background? I understand, in game yes screenshot, but what about any software? Or website that helps out with this? If i did it in game, i'd have to work around the background and such in photoshop.

Last time I checked, you could not use a transparent background in wow model viewer. Instead, use a green screen backdrop and remove it more easily than with the default black (blue?).
