Suspected of \ Suspended for selling account. Lie or come clean?

Hey guys!

There is a small chance my account will be suspended because I may have tried to sell it :>.
I've been a loyal customer for quite a while and have a ton of other games on the battle.net account apart from WoW. Usually in this situation, does this mean instant permanent suspension or is it possible to save the account?
If so, is it better to lie and tell Blizzard I got hacked or something or to come clean and tell them I tried to sell the account but didn't know it was against the ToS or whatever?

Has anyone had any luck in this situation?

IIRC, they will only ban your WoW account, and not your whole battle.net.
Also, lie. But if you claim you got hacked, they will check your IP logs, so if no one else than yourself has been on your account, or if you haven't used your account far away from your usual IP, they won't do anything afail.

Just lie, admitting it will just get you a ban.

You in no way want to tell them that you were selling the account because that will be a ban for sure. Try and lie your best around it and you should actually come out on top, but if your trying to tell them you got hacked and someone tried to sell it they will easily be able to track you unless you were running your game through a 3rd party client to connect your ports through somewhere else in the internet.

Lie, lie, lie. The second you admit it, permaban. NEVER admit to ANYTHING, and that's a good policy for life in general.
