Banned, but never sold gold?

I recently posted a thread in WoW Gold Selling (On Mmowned) And I was banned from WoW. Now let me get this straight, I had never sold WoW gold before! So, there must be someone on this forum that works for Blizzard. Is that likely? You tell me.

Yup it's pretty much 100% that someone from Blizz lurks these forums, thats why you shouldn't post any info that can be tracked to your account.

i dont think that is possible. it seems just from first reactions that they may have been watching the forums but just on that basis i dont believe someone can ban you. if you put your characters name, made a SS and said 'im selling gold' in the wow window and took a SS, they probably would ban you. if not, anyone could have imitated you which is not enough proof to ban you.

so if you posted a SS in a thread selling gold you would have enough proof to get banned

This site is so big, and there get released so many thaings everyday, thats why blizz can hotfix alot of the ne founded stuff, atleast the ones that get posted on here.

Its stated in the Terms of Service most people just scroll to the bottom of very quickly lol

What was a ban reason ? did you boted on that account ? Did you posted large amounts of auctions on AH ?
If you get ban with for instance "Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy" it could be for botting, exploting, too much AH etc etc, not only gold selling.
And no, you didn't get ban because of this forum or any other.
