Need help: Realm Loop 10 day trail

hi folks

after beeing away for about 2 years or so i created a 10 day trail acc to fool around with a friend of mine.

but: when i try to join a realm (official realm) it will bring me back to the realm list after about 30 seconds. i can't join the char creation menu.

why?

ps: im not ready downloading the client. i think its because of that, but my friend is already able to play while having downloaded about 100mb more than i do

Try deleting the Cache, Interface and WTF folders in your WoW folder.


If you can start the game it should be playable.

edit: tried to login with friends account. still looping.

seems like something prevents me from joining? i dont have any firewalls turned on. im not into my router that well, same router like 3 years ago no settings changed - never got any problems

edit2: tried it with SocksCap and YourFreedom. Online via Proxxy, i can login now. What do i have to change to login the regulary way?

edit3: so tried to enable some ports (list http://portforward.com/cports.htm: tcp: 1119, 3724, 4000, 6112-6114 and UDP 3724 ) but i cant get it work.
