Anyway of getting around the "Suspious activity" lock?

Me and a friend of mine often switch around characters to play when getting bored when farming Honor or Heroics for example, and we used to do this all the time going back to level 60.

But ever since Cataclysm now every single time I try to login to my friends account, it immediately gets locked due to suspious activity (we both live in different countries).

Is there no way of getting around this?

no... this will get both of you accounts banned due to account sharing. blizzard doesn't like when people share their accounts.

You could buy a proxy "near" to each others locations and then use that to play the game through when you wanted to use each others accounts. By doing this it looks like you are "each other" as your IP's are similar. It won't trigger the instant ban and you should be fine.

EG. You live in canada. Your friend lives in Japan. You buy a proxy so it looks like you're from Japan near where your friend lives. You play through the proxy. No ban.

Pros: you can play on each others accounts freely.

Cons: Possibly be laggy.
Might cost alot
Might be "too much hassle for what it's worth"
