Is there a chance my WoW account will be unbanned?

You cannot refresh their armory data until you log into them. You cannot transfer anything off the account unless it is unbanned.

The chances of you getting a permanent ban unbanned, even after a year, is extremely slim.

I have an account that got perma banned for speed hacking, back before the burning crusade came out. Earlier this year, I sent an email asking if it was possible to delete a character on that account, so I could get the name. They simply unbanned the account instead, now I can play on all characters as if nothing ever happened.

I guess what I'm saying is, if you send in a good enough email, and the folks over at blizzard is in a good mood, it is possible. But as aleready said, it's a very slim chance.

What would be the best way of contacting them in order to try to get my account back?
Using the webform? or [email protected]?
Should I act like I didn't know the account was banned until I tried to log in to start playing again for cataclysm?

I got my account unbanned after 2 years of it being inactive cause of bot usage, they put a perma ban on the account. What I did was change the account to battle.net, the account was still banned I emailed wow account admin and told them I haven't played in a while and that I already changed my account to battle.net account and I still can't log in for some reason. Next day I got email saying it's active and it's back up. I really didn't care if the account was unbanned since I had another account so I guess I got lucky or unless they monitor whoever botted and the ban period on that account was 2 years or more and they unban them I really don't know.
