How are you making money?

What is everyone doing right now to make gold. It's been pretty tough for me since it has been slow the past few months. It always gets this way before an expansion, but I'm curious as to how you guys survive through these troubling times. So outside of doing dailies, what do you guys do?

I'm playing the AH right now, since 4.0 hits, it also means tons of new gear for people, which is good for the market. Buying entire AH pages of specific items and making the market look higher than it actually is is what I do. It works great, and if all your stuff doesn't sell the first time, usually the market is still higher than it was when you bought items so you still make a profit. That and Botting herbs at night.

To your question: It's very hard to say. I've once monopolized the market with all leathers except Borean. There had been little margin in the Borean Leather market, but I was able to set the prices of the other leathers quite high and make few thousands. But then I've stopped playing regularly.

Focus on small number of comodities. Maybe start with one. Find out what sells good and what lies in the AH for a long time. Do not over supply. There are peak periods when it is good to sell, like the restart day - many raiders enchant and gem - or saturday - many people play in general.
