It's like the TBC cinematic, action action action action action ohai I'm deathwing.

Would of preferred something like the vanilla or WOTLK cinematic's, where you have something before that sets the atmosphere and gives it a more epic-purpose feel.

After i started to get into 3D and all that, i didn't really look at the history in it..

My jaw dropped because its awesome CG.. The style, and everything..

Personally preferred the Wotlk cinematic as well :/ It was still good but I think the Wotlk had more of a story to it

+1 for the WotLK cinematic. It was story-driven, but with some action and suspense in it. This Cataclysm cinematic is just a "ZOMG FEAR ME I AM ZE DRAGON DAT IZ GOIN' TO KILL YOU". Nothing more, you could have put it in any game that have this sort of dragons in it.Sure, that's stunning CGI, really awesome. But in its general form it's a "Technical Demo" more than a Game Cinematic / Trailer.

It's a good cinematic but it doesn't put up against the WOTLK cinematic. It just doesn't.

Also, Arthas was a extremely known character who made the crowd go wild, Deathwing on the other hand isn't that famous, some people hardly know about him.

I tuned in for the uk showing expecting to see a lengthy advert, was a bit disappointed it was so short.

To me it reminds me partly of that film 'Reign of fire' where one big dragon is really the core of destroying the earth.

As for living up to other cinematics, i'll always love the original wow one, i remember installing the game, it coming on and watching thinking 'This is going to be good'
