Raid bug, possible exploit.

So I had just finished my weekly - killing XT002 and we were all leaving.

So as normal I hearth and just before it's complete I would leave the group, but this time something different happened. When I arrived in dalaran I could still see people in the raid group on my map and see what they were writing in raid, but I couldn't type. It said I had left the group and raid.

So if somebody wants to investigate into this a little more we could have a possible exploit on our hands, I was wondering if you could roll while in this state and enter the instance that they were in.

Has happened to me once also.

I dont really see any way to exploit this unless you want to spy some random people.

try to re enter the same raid and see if you can join them in raiding
maybe this way we can raid with more than 25 man (since you left and they can inv more ppl to enter)

I believe i found a way to recreate this bug. If you have Quartz you can see the red bit at the end of the cast (latency). If you leave when the cast is at the red area you get this bug. I can only see the people in the raid on the minimap but i cant see them talking or anything else like that. I will try to enter a raid now.

Edit: You cant enter a raid instance since you are not in a raid group anymore. Apparently you can just see the people on the minimap you were in a group with. Funny thing is that you cant actually leave the group by clicking "leave group" :P You have to log out and then the group is gone. I guess if you get invited to other group would "fix" this also.

If the loot something in the world, do you split gold with the drops? Or experience?

No idea, didn't have time to test because after I posted I had to go straight out, if I can replicate this bug again I'll test.

I dont belive that you split anything because you are not in a raid. I believe its just an interface bug.
