Danger of getting banned for buying gold? Precautions?

I just wanted to ask, how big is the danger of getting perma-banned for buying 1-2K gold once a month maybe?
Also, what precautions can be made to reduce the risk even further?

I'm more confused as to why you would buy 1-2k just once a month, is it really that hard to do a bit of work to get it yourself? As far as getting banned, I don't know I've never bought gold before.

I would say as long as you don't do anything stupid you will be fine. I have heard that to be extra safe you could post some enchanting mats or something with low/no deposit on the AH with the price being the amount of gold you purchased and have the person you're buying it from buy that auction. Or you can trade them a stack of something at the same time that you're receiving the gold and then say something like "It was a pleasure doing business with you" like you were doing a legit sale.

But regardless, if you don't do it all the time and you don't buy retardedly huge amounts of gold you will probably be fine. Obviously don't tell anyone that you don't trust that you are buying gold, and don't type anything to anyone in game about buying gold

Okay so I went ahead and bought 1,000 gold 2 days ago and so far so good. Does that mean I'm good or can they ban me something like months after the purchase?

It could happen anytime Stupididiot, no one knows.

However, last month i bought about 40k gold, in my time of WoW which is since release, i have probably bought about 100k all in all, never banned, never suspended, never nothing.

As long as i am selling gold, none of my customers got ban. Dont know how it going with chinnese companies, but my golds are safe. :]
