Model Edit Detection

Hello all.

This may not be the perfect place to post, but I had no idea of where else to post my question.

I'm rather new to model editing, and one of my friends said, that Blizzard had done something in patch 3.5 to make model editing more detectable and dangerous to use - is this true? I don't want to risk my account for being another form.

Not rly.
I hear that for the first time, I play since wow classic with modelchange, and had never a ban or something other.
