General

* Arathi Highlands, Blasted Lands, Dun Morogh, Elwynn Forest, Loch Modan, Northshire, and Westfall are ready for testing.
* Several zones have had quest maps integrated.
* The level ranges of Gilneas and the Lost Isles are in the process of being adjusted slightly. Creature, quest, and quest reward levels are all being altered so that players finish questing in these zones roughly by level 12. Further fine tuning will continue in future patches.

Dungeons

* Blackrock Caverns: Teleportation NPCs in Stormwind, Orgrimmar, and Dalaran can now transport players to this dungeon, including players who are ghosts.

Classes

* Hunters should now start with a pet at level 1.

User Interface

* The ability to use third-party addons has been temporarily disabled for the test environment.

Bug Fixes

* Fixed a bug with goblins and worgen that was causing certain NPCs to appear neutral to these races.

Welcome to the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm friends and family beta test. The list below contains information on the current available content for testing. This information is subject to change, and we'll be sure to expand upon some of the new features over time.

General

● The Alliance starting experience for worgen is now available. Venture through the cursed lands of Gilneas to discover your true path! Currently the female worgen character is not available for testing.
● The Horde starting experience for goblins is now available. Beginning on the Isle of Kezan in a goblin paradise, players will face a treacherous road ahead!
● The updated level 1-60 experience on the continent of Kalimdor is further along in development than Eastern Kingdoms. Players are encouraged to to test Kalimdor first at this stage of beta. Changes to both continents will continue to be applied as testing progresses.
● Players may use our Character Copy feature for copying existing characters to beta realms, or may choose from high-level pre-made template characters.
● The level cap for all characters has been increased to 82.
● Mount Hyjal and Vashj'ir, two new level 78-82 zones, are now available. Players may find their way to these zones by speaking with temporary teleportation NPCs located in any major city.

Dungeons & Raids

● Blackrock Caverns, a level 79-81 five-player dungeon is now available for testing and can be accessed via the Dungeon Finder.

User Interface

● The Flight Map has been enlarged to support more flight points in Azeroth.
● The Talents pane has now been split to show all three talent trees in a single frame, including a display of each tree's Mastery information.
● The hunter pet's Talents pane has been updated and improved.

Technical Support

● Windows Vista and Windows 7 users experiencing issues updating the game client should right-click on the client icon and select Run as Administrator.
