2 Accounts. One for Main, one for Botting?

Is this possible? By which I mean:

Could you have two accounts. One where you NEVER use bots in conjunction with it being logged in and played, and one account and character you use entirely to bot (such as farming nodes and fishing).

I guess you could... because I swear bans are account based and not IP based etc.

However, what if you wanted to play your main account, and also have the botting account open in the background, farming for you whilst you play - is this just asking too much? If warden detected the bot, for example, it would detect it as if it was on both accounts?

The safest way to not link the accounts would be, Use different information for the 2nd account, (they check names) And pay for the 2nd account with a gamecard. Gamecards are cheaper, and it will not link to the account. But what i have heard is that if you play one account, and there is a banwave, it will ban all accounts going on that computer. But you could most likely fight this ban by claiming your brother is playing downstairs or something along the lines of that.

Afaik, they can check the MAC of the computer >.>

and of the IP: no they don't on waves.

and to the OP: You are safe for the most part. Just don't bot stupidlike and don't ever have your main account up with the bot running.
