    How to advertise your guild?

Hey all, i am a guild leader to a new guild, which i started out with the guild recruiting bot. We have around 30 80's, but i would like a lot more so there will always be a lot on. I was wondering if any of you know some great ways to advertise your guild and get high levels fast.

    Hey,

The things that I have seen work the best are these two rules

    1. Make a post on your realm forums, and keep it updated.

    2. Advertise, but don't spam your guild in trade with your current progression.
Ex. <Guild Name> is recruiting (insert class, or role, or w/e) we are currently 4/xx ICC 10, full clear toc 10 etc.

People want to see that you have done progression. Most people aren't willing to build up a guild, they want to hop in after all the hard work has been completed.

    Best of luck,
    Yaju

A good guild takes time to grow.

A guild thrown together with as many 80s as you can find will fail from the start.

In the end the best way to get it going is to let all members invite and post in /2 from time to time, and when you get a good core group going you can close invites to higher ranks and give new members a short "interview", so you can pick the people who bought and botted their chars to 80 our of the people who actually worked, and know how to play their char/class. And always remember, just because their gear is the sucks, they don't automatically suck lol. Some of my best "skilled" guildies in raids/pvp joined in garbage gear.
