So I had a conversation lately with a real GM on retail. Apart from telling me
about how Azhara Crater is going to be introduced in Cataclysm and how
some WMOs and Areas are going to be fixed, he also said many other
interesting things:




This is from the beginning of the conversation.



He has 'heard from MMOwned before and tells about his map editing
history. Never mind about that 'status'-talk, it's a TRAP!



He is talking about MMOwned



Second whisper is about MMOwned, rest about Modcraft.



I was shocked and couldn't believe my eyes after getting this message :O

To be honest, a LOT of the GM's that work for Blizzard probably visit this site.

Many of them just think it's more than their job's worth to talk about things like this at work. I think that said GM might possibly be getting in trouble later on unless Blizzard has changed their ways, according to the GM interview that was posted earlier on these forums.

He is bullshitting you.. i'm almost 99% sure, because i believe they are not allowed to talk about anything outside of their job.. it's almost like they are two diffrent persons.

I doubt it's a 'real' GM or he is very new on the scene. It could be a player who had a GM log onto his account to restore something but then forgot to remove the GM tag (which has happened times).
Also I see countless grammar/spelling errors (English GMs need outstanding English skillz)

No, that's not true. I've had numerous GMs from which I was thinking like "wtf, are they chinese?". Including the real "chinlish" mistake by not putting spaces after dots/commas, not using capitals etc.

That made me feel happy. Knowning that some GM's are very heartful and just, can have fun. Thats awesome. Might be a trap, but im sure he wouldn't know that much.

A. Spelling and grammar mistakes does not mean that he's not a GM. They're real people too.

B. Don't blindly trust anything a GM tells you. The odds are high that they either don't know the answer and just made something up, or they're lying to you cause that's how they work. They're like the cops of wow.

C. Admit nothing.
