    Botting For Gold

Okay so Im planning on creating 2 accounts, and Im wondering if its better to create them on different servers or on the same?
The reason I'm asking this is because I'm wondering how it is going to effect my selling of the gold that I make later on.
Another question is should those accounts be joined by RAF? Even if they are going to be on different servers (save 15 bucks for the free month right?)

I would do the same server that way you have a higher supply of gold to sell and faster. That is if you are just starting off.

You'll get free month if you pay for two months for invited account and it doesn't matter if they are on the same server. The thing with servers is that on different servers you wouldn't be able to get 3xExp during leveling up your chars.

You should, bot 2 characters up on a high population server, one that has a high gold demand. grizzly hills (us) and tichondrius (us) has been awesome for me in the past.

Horde usually is the best route to go, level up 2 accounts and bot them for gold and whatnot, don't sell the gold until Next year. Wait until October/November to sell and unload it on the chinese buyers, They pay top dollar when new expansions come out. You should be able to manage 100,000 easy by then - depending on how much you run the bots.

Send 10,000 to each website that buys, search mmowned, someone has compiled a list. You should be able to pull in upwards to 7-9$/k when the new expansion comes out cause everyone will be buying.

If you have intentions to find private buyers, I'd go seperate servers though, they are hard to manage and find.

First thanks for the massive info, but I got some questions.

    1. Why would I bot on a high pop server? Wouldn't it be harder to bot the gold since there is more competition and risk of banning?
2.Why is horde the better option.
3.Finally wouldn't a whole year of botting run the risk of heavy bans? Like I remember last year (2008 havent botted since) there were like 2-3 ban waves.

    1. No, not really. If your bot works good, no point of being worried.

    3. Indeed it probably would. Put the gold in a guildbank and invite a vanilla account char to it. Do NOT use the account for anything else. In this way, you can keep the gold when you get banned.

    ^^^^

    1. I wouldn't worry too much about competition. Blackrock, Tichondrius, Grizzly Hills, They usually have a very high demand. Unlike smaller servers. I'm on Shadowsong, or used to play it on my main, medium pop and no one would pay well for gold, not a good server. Many on Tichondrius and Blackrock are into the arena and raiding hardcore and spend tons of money on gold.

    2. Banning happens, don't be stupid. Don't bot 24/7, Try to bot when you can check up on it. I use WIM, Wow Instant Messenger. I look at the computer frequently throughout the day and if a box is flashed up with someone talking to me, I reply. I don't wanna get anyone suspicious with me.

    3. Just my tidbit of information. Alliance works just as much as horde but whenever I sold, I noticed a lot more orders horde side, I could be wrong, when I botted to sell gold about a year ago - younger kids usually hung around alliance while the older players (who normally are the one's gold buying) played horde for a more serious crowd of people. Though I think Alliance = Easier to level up from 1-60

    Good luck

I'd say you should bot on the same server. When it comes to selling be patient and don't sell your stuff when the average price drops.
