Collector's Edition CD Key

I'm not the original owner of one of my accounts and don't have CD-key.

If I upgraded it to Collector's Edition, could I use the CE CD-key to prove my ownership to Blizzard? Would it work in the web form which is used when recalling accounts? I have other info.

I think you need the vanilla CD key to prove your the owner.. But I'm not 100% sure.

Yeah , if you don't have the vanilla they'll ask for tbc and proof of ID , wotlk means nothing to them unfortunately

You do need the vanilla key or an proof of ID, if not, you can't prove much

if its not a battle net acc u can make a battle net acc, then merge it with that wow acc and then it will have the same informations as your battle net acc
