[Discussion] Blizzards approach to stop CTM bots

in the last months we have more and more public bots popping up,
all using CTM as main control instrument.

CTM is like a free included game bot control,
it's very likely Blizzard will do something about it anytime soon.

what do you think will be Blizzards method to detect CTM misuse?

because player movement is client side, and there is no 100% way to check if the input come from human or not, and the way CTM is implented, it's no easy task.
for example, they could check for bad/unhuman CTM coords.

    please discuss, thank you.

(or not if you think Blizzard will read this and use your method ;-)

actually there is a way for blizzard to check if the movement is not human by recording the movement of the mouse since most bots go by keyboard keys only and it's a known fact everyone moves there mouse once and a while.

    - there are players who don't use a mouse
    - there are players with a broken mouse
    - there are players using other hardware which converts to keybord input
    - there are multiboxers
    - adding mouse actions to a bot is done in a second

CTM only moves characters in a straight line and doesn't compensate for terrain obstacles. Why would Blizz care?

Also, if they did, they'd probably just remove CTM from the game (see: all the LUA functions that used to be accessible but are no longer).
