Mage Ice barrier

when i was levelling and boosting my mates, i used to reapply ice barrier as soon as the cooldown was finished, even if the shield was still up.

i cant do that now, it just says a powerful spell is already active

FFS. is this just a problem with me or a stupid mage change?

doesn't do it all the time just now and then =) but hasn't happened to me for a month or 2 now :> but yeah its a common bug for mages

It's a bug.

actually, your all incorrect. Ice barrier takes a portion of your spellpower (From the time of cast) and adds it onto the amount of damage absorbed by ice barrier, That is to say,

•You had a SP buff active
•You cast Ice Barrier
•SP Buff vanishes
•Try to recast Ice Barrier.

The original one is more powerful.

To combat this (If you can be bothered with the increased Mana comsumption + Reduced damage absorbiton) would to be to use double ranks of Ice Barrier (5 and 6) Consecutively (Rank 5, before It breaks Rank 6) Then when 6 breaks back to 5...
