An account I purcahsed was recalled?

    I will keep this short:

I bought an account 45 days ago and have been sitting on it, changed the e-mail, etc...

I try to log in, and I find that

    a. my password no longer works
    b. my e-mail is no longer tied to the account

I received NO e-mails for Blizzard stating that the account has been recalled, but now that none of my information works, can I safely assume that the account was recalled?

Just want to make sure before I call my CC company and institute a chargeback. Thanks!

An account I purcahsed was recalled?

45 days is the limit in which you can file a Paypal dispute. You just got scammed. Although they didn't reckon on CC companies.

I am a profession trading card buyer (and a newbie WoW account buyer, apparently), so I know the two basic tenets of Paypal:

    1. Their dispute process sucks
    2. CC companies > them

    Thanks!

    Hehe .

    1. I am a long-time lurker, first-time poster...have been here for many, many years.

    2. Had been a routine guide-writer and user of Glider, so I am definitely attuned to botting and gold farming =).

hold the payment make dispute, tell paypal the issue that happend and you will get cash back easily.

or simply make a "Unauthorised" Payment. and say you got hacked

Guys, I know what to do to get my money back; I wrote a BOOK about how to take advantage of Paypal payments (seriously, published it last year).

However, I want to know if I am being scammed out of my account in the first place so I don't, in turn, unknowingly commit a scam, myself. I do trust Reid, but additional verification that the account was recalled would definitely make me feel better about a chargeback initiation.

Yes, you got screwed, just ask your bank to charge back =) He'll get screwed with negative paypal balance I think.

He sure will, thanks again .

It is quite ironic...I know enough about Paypal to scam anyone at any time...enough to win any time of claim simply by knowing what do to in any situation (and trust me, it is not always obvious...I know how to circumvent the 45-day resolution period, but I would rather avoid dealing with them,anyway)...but I truly do not have the guts to scam anyone.

This is why I want to absolutely make sure that he screwed me out of the account before proceeding with the chargeback.

Very ironic! I will gladly help anyone legitimate =).

I cannot guarantee I can get your money back (and/or defend your payment if you are the seller), but I do not have MSN...mind PMing me your situation?
    (I cannot send PMs)
