Blizzard Lost its Creativity? :(

Lets take you back, to Pre-Burning Crusade, to a time when the Tier was a sign that you did something, and took your time. And not only did Blizzard make it fun (long, but fun) they also gave you a unique piece of gear. I mean take a look at Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, even go as far as Tier 6.

They all look nice and unique to each and every class you can clearly tell which class is which. Well Blizzard has jumped off that train resently. I started to notice it in Tier 7 when they recycled Tier 3, and Tier 8 does have its own "style" but its a wtf style. But if you look at tier 8, you cant tell if its a priest or a warlock at all. Is that a death knight i see? No its a paladin!



That is the plate line up for T9, do what the picture says, spot the difference. Color doesnt count.


Only thing blizzard is doing different then normal, is making a horde and alliance unique tier set, which is a good thing, but personally i rather have class difference. Dont get me wrong they are good styles, but they look the same....

I have to agree with you, eventho i never like the banana armor of paladins, its going more and more boring every tier.
They really should go into models more, i think there was a long thread about the same thing in wow-eu forums, just too samelooking armors

I think they are trying to mimic the aq style t 2.5 gear in wow classic.

naxx=mc
ulduar=bwl
coliseum=aq


and I remember the aq sets were the same for each armor type and they looked a lot worse then these sets (except maybe plate was kinda cool in a power ranger way). But you cant really say they are getting less creative when they did the same thing in classic wow too. Im sure they will go back to making armor different for each class after this instance

Blizzard lacks creativity, yes. But they dont lack money. They get money without having to posess creativity.

Blizzard want to roll out new tiers so that players have somthing to do so they dont quit, Meaning they cba making new sprites, Just edits. They fail, Peroid!

Wow I haven't really played much end game. That's pretty lame that there's no difference
I noticed alot of item appearances don't change when leveling from 70-80.
I have made 6 80's so far I believe shoulders were the biggest ones that never changed

The chests(lion, skull and sword) and colours are different on the plate, that is all.
