Farming Gold with a Bot

Hey there,

I plan to get hold of a few accounts and start botting on them like crazy(24/7) and would like some info of where to bot for gold.

I will Bot the accounts to 60 (Vanilla WoW expansion) and would like to know best way to get gold as a level 60.

Somewhere where there are plenty of humanoids so you can get runecloth. So I would suggest somewhere in EPL maybe the Scarlet elites.

How long roughly does it take to get a stack there? Because on the server they go for only 2g 60s per stack.

Couldn't tell you off the top of my head. If i remember correctly every mob dropped 2-4 and it dropped about 50% of the time so not long but if its only 2g 60s on your server than it may not be worth it. However, you can use this place to get Krol Blade's and Lifestones as they are elites.

Im thinking of going to Tyrs Hand to bot as they drop alot of Runecloth and also:

2-4 each time. Lets go with 3 then.
How long to kill a mob? 15 secs? 20? Ill go with 20.
That means 9 RuneCloth per minute.
Divide that by the 50% chance so thats 4.5 per minute.
So thats 270 RuneCloth per hour.
270 RuneCloth at 2g 50s each would go for about 105g.
So that means were looking at roughly 100g per hour.
24 hours of it so thats 100 * 24 which is 2400

So now were looking at 2400g per day.

Ok well i went to Tyr's Hand last night and left my bot on over night and from my calculations i died once every 4 mins (Roughly). So i think that is not a good spot for me to bot.

Anyone got any other suggestion? Maybe even some decent gear suggestions of what to get? At the moment i have full Nightslayer on

what class did you use to bot and what level are you and the mobs?

Im using a level 60 Rogue killing level 55 elites.

I have 4.4k health.

Well i went and headed over to Feralas and did some botting there for Magweave and it seems to be going ok (Except a few kills by some Higher level players as its a PvP realm) still running now. Will leave it on over night tonight.
