Turtle Mount Help :<

Hey, anyone here caught the Turtle mount?

I have no idea what I got to do, I spent all last night trying to catch it just farming in 1 lake, then I read about any pool in Northrend, does this mean fish pools? the little round circle were fish are jumping out the water? so I just have to fly around northrend looking for them and fishing them until they're gone until I catch the mount?

Or do I have to just fish random lakes? #

You have to fly around and fish in the pools, yes.

First just to let you know the droprate is somewhere between 1:1000 to 1:5000 so be prepared for a long fishing grind unless you get extremely lucky like me and just come across it while stocking up on glacial salmon.

I been trying for 24 hours straight its a shame you cant bot it

I farmed like 6 hours,quit,next day another like 3-4 hours,then I quit again,I still don't have it,my friend farmed 24 hours straight,so he said,then after 2 casts the next day (After giving up hope) he caught it,its all luck,if you farm long enough,eventually it will drop. Good luck.

I got it on my first try, but another friend farmed for an entire day before getting it

I got it one morning just before I logged off, at 235 fishing. The place where the monsterbelly fish are off the coast of Borean (on the glaciers) is an amazing spot, ALWAYS around 3 pools there.

EDIT: If I remember correctly, you get the achievement even without looting it.
