A question about PCT (Paid Character Transfer)

Pyramid games/promotions are disallowed in my country (EU), and for that reason my account is not eligible for Recruit a Friend nor Resurrect a Friend. I've been thinking of creating a second account, registering it under a different country, transferring my main and proceeding with RaF. Here's the question:
I know the last names have to match, but what about the country? I checked World of Warcraft Europe -> Info -> Paid Character Transfer F.A.Q, but there's nothing specific about it. Anyone with experience? Perhaps someone who's already tried this? Thanks.

Names must match the same, that is the only requirement. From my own experience. I had a German account, transfered the character to a new account that is Dutch and it worked perfectly.
