Hiya all, just brought WoTLK and im going to make a DK for some fun!

what spec should i go for solo levelling ?

I heard unholy was best but what should i put points into when i START my DK (55)

Blood spec would be easy to level, it will be very easy to heal yourself.

At 55, I started off with:

I didn't move to Outlands until 59, instead working on some of the chains in WPL and EPL since it was right outside the DK starting area. At which point I had: Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft

At 68, move on to Wrath content, as well as switching from the blood tree to Unholy: Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
The glyphs I had given to my character from a bank alt. If you do not have the means to purchase all these glyphs, I'd say to get at least the Glyph of Death Strike to boost damage output.

77: Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
Hey, flying mount time (if you can afford it.) Not much changed, still going down unholy tree. Last two points for 78 and 79 were put in toughness to boost Bladed Armor.

80: Congratulations, do whatever spec you like now.

Notes:
I used Frost Presence since it was buffed, and it does boost bladed armor so there isn't much damage loss from not using Blood Presence.

Rune Tap: some people use it, some don't. I personally liked it for an easier time soloing elites (20% of your health every 30 seconds with improvement is quite nice.)

AoE grinding is possible still, I personally prefer the blood tree for the majority of the points.
