WoW EU account [vs] US account HELP

I have a US version of WoW installed on my computer. I have a US WoW account. I "got" 3 WoW EU accouts, they all work, i tested them on the EU armory.

So to acces them in WoW, i changed the realm list to :

set realmlist eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com

When i login with one of the accounts, it says the is a version error or something. And links me to this Blizzard Support

I tried changing the realmlist back to the US, signed in with my account, and it works.

Its not a compatibility error, cause i have TBC + Wotlk. They have it too, since they have lvl 80s, thus Wotlk.

Whats the problem ?

***When I installed TBC, it didnt work, so i looked online, and told me to only install Wotlk since TBC is integrated into it, it works fine, i can play with TBC and Wotlk.

**EDIT: When i went on the armory, when i searched for the characters, they showed up, but when i clicked on them to see deatils, it said there was an error.

You can't change the realmlist anymore to switch between them. As far as I know the only "official" way to do it is to go to, World of Warcraft Europe , log in with the EU account, and download the EU client. Sorry

I cant download the EU version with my internet, i have a limit, and its slow
