Nov 09, 06 Was the last time I saw my character, I need some advice here...
Nov 09, 06 was the Day my character was Permanently banned due to Botting. Since then I have tried to get my account back 2 times, both times blizzard has replied "Absolutly Not" in the first email which I recieved from them. Therefore I have bought a new account and now have a level 70 hunter, but I yearn for my paladin which I worked so hard to build up.
Things which I have tried with blizzard are: Lying to them and saying I was on vacation without access to my computer when this happened.
Now I ask all of you here at MMOwned (a site which I have lurked on for quite a while) is there anything you can all suggest for a way to get this account back? I am willing to try basically anything at the moment...
This is the email conversation I had with blizzard: (of course the personal information is edited out)
Greetings ____,
Thank you for your follow-up email. We have reinvestigated our
extensive in-game logs as well as all the pertinent data involved in the
closure of this account and have determined that the original closure was
indeed merited. The account was found to have used prohibited
third-party software, which is a serious violation of the Terms of Use. To
protect the integrity of our investigation process, we must refrain from
disclosing any information about our investigation methods or findings,
and are unable to make exceptions to this policy. This includes but is
not limited to the names of prohibited programs found to have been
employed.
Please review the World of Warcraft Terms of Use at

Section 6. [Security of Login Information "You are responsible for
maintaining the confidentiality of your Login Information, and you will be
responsible for all uses of your Login Information, whether or not
authorized by you." Please bear in mind that you are also responsible for
any prohibited software found to be running in conjunction with World of
Warcraft while your account is logged in, regardless of location and
ownership of the computer used to log in to the service.
Additionally, Section 1 [Eligibility] states that only you and/or your
one (1) minor child can access your account. You are responsible for
maintaining the confidentiality of your Password, and you will be
responsible for all uses of your Password, whether or not authorized by you.
Also, note that the security of the Account is your responsibility.
Therefore, we regret to inform you that we will be unable to restore
access to the account under any circumstances. Any disputes or questions
concerning this account action can only be addressed by Account

Description - -----------------------
Dear Blizzard Entertainment and Account Administration,
Currently I have received a email stating that the World of Warcraft
account known as "_______" Has been locked from the game for a reason that
is unknown. I have not been able to access the account since sometime
in October due to the fact I have been in Canada(I was staying in
Edmonton, Alberta) living with family, the computer which I play World of
Warcraft on was left at my house in _______, ________. When I
returned home 2 days ago I noticed a email stating that my World of
Warcraft account has been compromised and locked.
This has happened once before when my account was hacked and all
equipment on the character ________ was deleted. If I haven't had any
access to World of Warcraft, how is it that my account was banned? I have
not given out the information to the account to anyone.
I would also like to add that I have talked to a few of my real life
friends in these last few days, they have told me that my characters were
online during the time I was away. It was also mentioned that any
contact with the character was useless, every time they attempted to talk to
my characters no reply was given and the character would log off
shortly after.
Now I am a very serious player of your game, I have worked on my
character to the point where it was considered one of the best of that class
on the server. This second incident is very upsetting to me for that I
have done nothing to deserve this. Now even though I have made my
character to be one of the best, I have made some enemies in the process.
There is a chance that one of these people might have hacked into my
account and attempted to ban it.
Even though the email you have sent me said "As a result, the
account(s) will no longer be accessible and will unfortunately not be reopened
under any circumstances." I would like you to look into this case once
more, for that I wish to obtain my World of Warcraft account.
Here is some additional information about my account that might help
you identify that this account is mine.
Authentication Key: __________________________
Account Name: ________
Name: _________
Address: __________________________________
Zip/Postal Code: __________
Characters: _____________
If this information is not enough to prove that I am the owner of this
account then I do not mind calling Blizzard Entertainment.
Sincerely, ___________.

Well they're not going to really take any chances.
If they suspect you of something, it's easier for them to see "We might be getting rid of someone for account sharing" than it is "This person has worked alot on his account."

Actions have consequences. Next time don't bot, at least on accounts you consider non throw away.

He cold make a case of Bans lasting 6 months now fairplay treat everone equally yada yada. But in my opinion lying the first time around will bite OP in the back. Anyways, was interesting to learn that botting existed since the dawn of this game,
