Hey there! As always my humble apologies if this
turns out to be a repost. I couldn't find anything
myself, but I may have missed something :-)
It's a friday morning
Well Earlier today I saw a very 'complicated' guide
about how to broadcast with alot of software,
settings and so on. Today, I'll show you how
broadcasting can be made easier than ever before
... Using Xfire!
Yes please! Tell me, tell me, tell me pleaseeeee!
Let's get started. I'll sum the whole thing up in a
list so it's easier to read (and get back to) specific
points.
Getting Xfire
1. Download Xfire
2. Install it
3. Create a free Xfire account
But but, you said we could broadcast?!
Don't be so impatient!
4. Once you're logged in with your account click 'extra's'
5. Click Options
6. Go to the broadcast tab
7. Check 'Enable Broadcasting'
8. Bind a key to it.
9. Select the broadcast quality
10. Turn broadcast audio on or off
11. You're done, click OK
So what now????
12. Log into World of Warcraft (or ANY other game)
13. Press your broadcast key, and you're done!
So where can ppl see my skills :O!
Code:
http://www.xfire.com/live_video/YOURACCOUNTNAMEHERE
For Example:
If you choose the accountname 'mmowned' your stream link will be:
Code:
http://www.xfire.com/live_video/mmowned
I have never experienced any lag or FPS drop using Xfire Broadcast.
Ofcourse, this may be diffrent for you. But I haven't heard anyone
complaining about using Xfire Broadcast just yet. It's being used
alot for Arena in WoW.
Oh and! You'll be able to see In-Game how many people are
watching your stream. You'll also have a chatbox, just click
this away if you don't want to chat to people ^^
Lots of people are using Xfire, so you may notice alot more
viewers than just your friends watching. However, you can
make the stream private so only friends can watch it, if you
wish. But since arena ratings are equivalent to a guy's dick
size, I doubt anyone will make the video's private :P
