Blizzard IP tracing?

Okay, so I know that blizzard can view your IP, obviously. But say that you were caught, for instance, buying gold on your account. Would they notice that your second account with the same IP receive punishment as well?
Situation 2: Your second account with the same IP does NOT have the same account info(None of the details the same), would that change the outcome?
And also, what are the punishments if caught for the first time buying gold?

I found out the hard way, they do trace your IP to all your other accounts. I had scammed gold from people and sent it to a gold site, then had gold delievered to my main. All of my accounts, including trials accounts that I had made and other accounts were all banned for "Economy Explotation". It was horrible, lost 2 80s and 3 70s. =(

The scammed account, and 2 of my accounts all had different info so the only possible way they all got banned was by IP trace.

Yes, everything had different names, email everything was completetly different. All banned and traced by my ip.

Yeah, I they were most likely only traced my IP because I infact scammed gold and sold it. It still prooves that they will trace ips in sitatuations so you have to be careful either way imo.

Literally MMOkings, or are you just advertising? XD And I probably will use them, but im also considering another site whose name I cant think of. Assuming im caught, will the second IP linked to my "caught" account be punished? And what is the punishment?

Okay, I just looked up my realm/faction... I know MMOkings is reliable, and all that good stuff, but theres no way im paying $15/1000g.

You have to realize, it only takes them a few seconds to pull up their database and see what accounts have logged in from that IP address. It's not some complicated or hard thing for them

never happened to me >.> and I use the same info/email XD 1st acc banned for scamming/bots 2nd account was banned for economy exploitation from renting.

And my account I actually care about has been perfectly fine.

Most likely, I mean just incase you needed the info on them incase they tried to send in an unban letter or something.

@Blackfang: You could also try OffGamers, they are cheaper, but if you use MMOkings you are supporting MMOwned.

I can't say that I've used MMOkings but ALOT of people can vouch for them.

I on the other hand can vouch for OffGamers because they have sent a total of 13,500 gold to me on the SAME character with no ban/suspensions.

mmokings is absolute trash. their prices are close to highway robbery. direct buying and selling is much better.
