I've been reading the patch notes and noticed that the race requirements for mounts are being removed. Will this mean that I will still have to farm exalted with Exodar to be able to use an Elekk, or will it be strictly the race requirements only?

About to buy my epic mount, wanted to know.

Faction- & Reputationrequirements won't change. Just racial restrictions are lifted.

So yes, you will have to farm to exalted with the Exodar to ride their mount.

you'll have to grind the rep but i'd recommend getting the pvp one. unless you're going for the mounts achievement

all it means that the mounts can now be used by all races of a faction.

For example:
Night Elves can use mechano-striders
Taurens can ride Hawkstriders.

They lifted the race limitations, but nothing changed for rep, and nothing changed as far as cross-faction stuff.
So no, you can't ride any of the alliance mounts/chopper/etc.

u can do pvp mounts that dont require rep, such as dreanai on mechano-gonme-retarded-thing!
