no it never said that and you are not even a donator.
You have to CONTRIBUTE to get into the elite section which means +325 rep.

You probably just have to wait a bit. Once you are updated as a Donator your name will turn orange.

The "Elite" section is for 325rep+ only as some have said. But you do get other (and more popular) forums by donating.

Edit: Yea, and like the other person above said, I hope you did it through the site and not some random donation link someone gave you.
You can check by going into your "User CP" and clicking "paid subscriptions". It should then be on the top of the page that you are a donator for XX-XX dates.
If you are sure you did it through the site, just wait. Usergroups are kinda screwy since last night. I think they might be changing something.
