Now, this is just a thought I had recently. Look, we all know world of warcraft isn't even close to being realistic to what we would picture it being like back then. Sure, they got the troubled areas, high level and low level people, and cities. But what happened to all the war? If you played Warcraft 3 or any of the earlier versions of it, all you would see was building up cities, then creating a army, and try taking another city then setting up a city where you just destroyed theres. So why couldnt we somewhat do the same? I was wondering if it would be possible to make every area neutral so we can be attacked, anywhere and at anytime. Move the battlegrounds from being instanced, to world wide. I picture it being like Arathi Basin, since i never made it to Alterac Valley. Its capture the cities, you would place the AB flag at a central command point of a city. When the server first comes out, they would all be neutral. Starting areas dont have flags to capture. You would get together with your guild, or a group of friends, and literally raid a town for once. You would massacre the place, trying to get to the AB flag, and once your there, you got to make sure no one is near it for you to take it, make it 1 minute to take to give the defenders a chance. Have you ever noticed in AB how there are people walking around, yet they cant be talked to, or targeted? Well that same principal could be used for NPC's, such as guards, merchants, ect...So the horde captures Goldshire, the alliance npc's that havent died yet, will be despawned, and horde npcs will be spawned in their place. Well that was my theory of how we could make World of Warcraft better. Sorry if this has been posted before.
By the way, sorry if this in the wrong section, didnt know where to put it.
