Character Deletion

I'm relatively knew to this server and only bumped into this site a while ago while doing random searches on WOW related topics.
So HELLO everyone! *WAVES*
The question the situation that I'm in is that I'm going for a holiday for 2 months and I'm going to cancel my subscription for 2 months. I've heard that Blizzard will delete people's account if they havent reached a certain level and I'm a level 47. So big question - Will characters be deleted after 2 months?

nope, As far as i know Blizz never delete accounts (even banned ones)

Havn't gotten past level 34 played for a year and a half plus..... Why would they delete your account like that anyway?

If your subscription ends and there is no payment information listed on the account then it will become frozen and inaccessible for play. Provided that the characters do not get deleted by the account holder, we will retain all character information on our servers indefinitely.

You will still be able to access your account through the Account Management page. From there you can set up a new subscription for your account at any time, which will allow you to log into the game again and pick up right where you left off. More information on getting the account started again can be found here.
