Yes, as in arenas. Just join skirmish, and theres an addon that basically gives you rating, but not officially.

I don't see whats a "waste of time" about it, especially since I am fully funding whoever makes a 19. AKA paying for all your gear, giving you runs on my main, and buying all the mats for your enchants.
