help with wotlk 8788 server

i just finished reading Brantx's guide on how to set up a wotlk server and ive got a problem. my mangosd comes up with an error message:
ERROR:Check existing of map file './maps/0004331.map': not exist!
ERROR:Correct *.map files not found in path './maps' or *.vmap/*vmdir files in './vmaps'. Please place *.map/*.vmap/*.vmdir files in appropriate directories or correct the DataDir value in the mangosd.conf file.

so i ran the makevmaps_SIMPLE.bat and waited until it stopped at C:\new folder-wotlk beta...etc so i moved my vmaps folder into my beta server folder but i dont know if thats the right place to put it can you please help me
