Priest = Good Gold Farming AOE Now?

I remember back in the day, Mages were the main class to go for, if you wanted to AOE goldfarm mobs. I don't currently play (yet, considering coming back), however the Priest seems to be pretty good at this now, with their new shadow AOE Channel, as well as their Holy Nova (very spammy and bad though), plus they have bubbles, etc, where mages have to simply dodge/slow/CC the mobs.

Could anyone give me a rundown on how good Priests are at AOE farming in Cata?

Priests are a horrible aoe class now (without a tank) - for AOE gold farming, a good tank (blood dk, lot of self heals) or a fire mage, kite that stuff around.
