Anyone going? the event is basically guarenteed profit if you live in the area(and a fun time). Just like the spectral tiger(est. $900-1000 price on ebay), I believe the polar bear mount will become worth a lot with time as it will be limited to 1 per 09 blizzcon attendee. Im going for other reasons as well but im paying for a few family members tickets in trade for their polar bear card. The same rules apply to general reselling for all popular games for betas, in game items, collectors editions, theres always profit to be made if you do it right.

edit: if this is too semi-wow related since blizzcon is for many games but primarily WoW please move it, my bad. Still getting used to these forums

Any thoughts on the idea? Im planning to make at least $1k doing this, sure it will take some time unless they instantaneously take a major value hit(which Im sure they will like 200-300 starting price) then slowly increase the next year. Its a good investment especially x3, Ill be spending $300 but wont regret it with the value increasing immensely. People go nuts over mounts, turtle mount, spectral tiger and LoN loot card mounts for EQ/EQ2 are proof that this should work well.
