What do ppl sell on crossAH's?

Hi, ive been thinking and just wondering what people sell on AH's like the one in BootyBay and Gadget?
I mean, is there any point in using them?
Who want to go to a cross AH to buy tradegods? So it have to be something that Hordes cant get (or if ur horde, that alliance cant get).

Reason for this post is that when i find an item that sells for good money on CrossAH i want to know which one.

Whats your tips on this topic?

I dont use them much, I play horde and I always thought if I was gonna scam someone on alliance i would use the crossserver ah to do it, like an acct scam I would prob log on my horde put up some low lvl item for say 100g or 200g and then log on ally and buyout but I havent tested this yet just an idea.

I did not try that before, I hope alliance can have that too. Is my account can get banned if I try this?

people only pretty much sell crap on the AH, well at least on my server...

the only thing anyone (for the most part) would be interested in is the STV pages, for that quest

Yeah, the majority (about 95%) of the items in the cross-faction AHs, are items that they found IN a zone that has a cross-faction AH.


And tons of meat too, i don't know what attracts so many people to go "Oh sweet, this scorpian dropped some meat, cross-faction AH here i come."

Can your opposite faction bid on your auction?

I know my same faction could not bid/buyout and item. If you could it would be like ebay - just keep raising the price and hope the guy will keep rebidding...

you can not buy the item from a character on an account and make a new character on the same account to cross bid or buy for that matter. You need to either have a second account or a good friend to buy the items for you. Blizz is a little smarter than that. But if you have TWO accounts then you can do it no problem. Not that I would advocate doing that.

i think usually for items the other faction can't get like i bought a few cats on my horde character then sold them on horde ah unfortunately selling them at horde ah didn't bring in much profits also quest items that r hard to find
