Could anyone tell me if it would be possible to put the whole of the World of Warcraft folder, from the Program Files folder, including all the patches and the Burning Crusade, onto a 8GB pendrive AND make it run from there on any computer just by plugging it in and registering it in the registry?

Basically I want to copy OR install the whole game and patches and Burning Crusade onto an 8GB USB pendrive, then plug that into a random computer, register the game with the computer, (if necessary), logon and start playing, without having to install anything, just run it from the 8GB USB Pendrive.

I have access to free broadband in my collage, but i cannot install anything onto any PC because i do not have the admin rights.

Actually I brought my computer to my friends house and he transfered the whole WoW C: file over to my computer. I didnt even have to install. The folder is on my desktop and i just made a shortcut to the .exe. I am pretty sure you can.

You can do this with a flash drive, and an Ipod(so long as there is enough space) Just copy the WoW Folder over to your storage device, then link it to the comp you want to play wow on, then open up pendrive(Ipod/flash drive, etc) and open the wow folder from it, and launch the .exe

I heard there was a way to get WoW on your cell phone.... I'm not sure how to do it. But I bet if u Google it you can find out how

it's easy, I have replied to this MANY times, I wish people would use the search facility, basically just get a working copy of wow on your computer once it's all patched, running etc copy & paste it to your pen drive then take it somewhere, plug it in & double click the "Wow.exe" & it will run!

no need for anything else, it is really THAT simple, on a USB pen drive it could be slow I guess but I don't see why it would be, I might even post a video cause people have asked this a million times.

Yes thx Dave, i have just found one of your replied threads and read through the whole thing, once something gets burried on this site its hard to find it.

Someone could do with making a step by step guide for reference on this subject.
