WoW Customized Item Links?

Hello everyone at mmowned, I have a question about something I have seen earlier. Well, I was in Orgrimmar and some guy linked a really powerful item called "Haxxed Axe Of Teh_Pwnerer" and the stats of it were unreal. People were saying he probably somehow made the link himself, and I whispered him and he wouldn't tell me. I went to google and tried looking everywhere to find out how, but I had no luck. I thought maybe here someone might know something about it, and may be able to provide me with good information. I would appreciate it if someone got back to this thread.

Loot Link, Loot Bank, all sorts of addons.. You would have to have the link saved b4 patch 1.12 (I think) because blizz made it where the link has to have been seen on the server to link it or else it will just disconnect you and not link the loot. But load up loot link and get a few items saved...go to LootLink folder and in one of the .doc folders will be a bunch of loot names.. You can add your own or modify them. But like I said when you reboot WoW you can see the loot in your loot link but if you try to link it to anyone it will disconnect you. But since the server saved all the loot its seen up to 1.12 you can get your friend to link you the fake item and it will save it for you.
