Hi there, well.. ive seen in many ocations people with accounts created Jan 2007 newer/older say +rep in the post but actually dont give rep. Whats the point? If you dont know how to GIVE rep take a look at this.

and a test when they register to check if they realy know what theyre doing.

Fact is that even if people did give you rep it wouldnt show. Because 70% of members dont have any rep power

Yeah, they might be actually +repping you and they just haven't 'qualified' to be able to give rep yet.

On my Joana's guide rehosted post i ended up getting about 5-6 +reps, and only ended up with 3 rep in all.

Well, though if you look in your User CP, it shows some green and gray, the green ones mean you have gotten rep from the specified user, and the gray ones mean you havent ^^

i think matt did this because of if it was that easy to rep people.
you could justrep spam yourself and friends with just making random accounts and rep yourself to heaven! has happened before tough.
