Can blizzard track where and who has accessed a WoW account. For example if I logged onto someone else's account, would blizzard be able to track me to logging into that account?

Yes, Blizzard logs your IP every time you log into the game, or even log into their website. If you hacked into someone else's account from the same location that you normally play, it's possible they could see which other accounts use that same IP, and your account could be linked to the act and possibly banned. Not sure if Blizzard also does IP bans, but if they do and you hacked someone's account from the location you play at, they could block your IP from accessing the game/website completely, meaning you wouldn't be able to play on any accounts from that location. Not sure about that last part though.

Above poster is right - if you for some reason feel paranoid or guilty at scamming, then use a proxy.
In fact - allways use a proxy!

Do you need a program to use a proxy? Or is it just like a website you can run programs through and go to other websites from?
Also, Would there be a way If i knew all the info to transfer a character off an account without it being able to be tracked to me?

Alright, I'm failing at getting to the point. I know now that there is no way possible for me to get the character, but here is the problem. I know the account info of someone else's account and I want to log on there account and transfer all there shit to my main without be caught. Sadly I have already logged onto the account on WoW and on the website. Is there a way I could do this without getting caught? I don't get how to use a proxy for WoW, only while I'm on the internet.
If you just transfer his shit to your main, you're going to get busted for sure. They'll just look at where the items went as soon as he reports it, see they were transferred to your account, and then ban you.
If you launder the money well, you might avoid Blizzard's wrath, but even then I stress "might". If you don't do it well enough, they'll track the money and ban your account. If you want to transfer the money, make sure you get his account permabanned after you transfer it (use hacks, racial slur in trade chat, "accidently" whisper a GM with a macro you use to pose as a Blizzard employee to steal acct. names and passwords).
I was thinking that maybe if i made an alt on another account and "traded" the items and money, not mail. Then trade from the alt to my main they wouldnt be able to track the items/money. But then there is still the whole IP issue.
couldnt u config ur ip to reset it and get a new ip address
man if blizz would ban thro ip there would be a lot not playin wow
