General Hacking/Exploiting Question

alright so I am new to this exploiting and hacking, and sort of new to WoW itself. So far this is the first site that is free that shares hacking content and such and seems like a stable community.

Anyway, I don't really understand how many of you can do things like editing weapons and such without getting caught? I dont really know anything about servers or anything like that so be as detailed as possible if you are going to try and explain all this to me, because I really want to get into it.

You can't edit weapons. You can make them appear different on your screen. However, their functionality remains the same.

The only hacks of value in World of Warcraft in my opinion, at the moment, is Speedhacking and/or Wall-climbing with Cheat Engine.

There is many excellent threads on how to do either/both of those, if you use Search.

Does blizzard ban for editing weapons to appear different? And I saw some videos of people changing their levels and creating weapons by typing in some code inside the game that gave them some enchanted weapons.

I have never heard of anyone being banned or anything for model editing (ie makeing your level 6 warrior look like it's wearing full tier 5) but Blizzard is cracking down on it, for more info go to the 'Model Editing' section of the forum. For you other comment:

That would have been done on private servers, we also have a section on that here too . If you would like to know anymore or would like anyhelp I would be glad to, but, I'm not an expert (yet! okay maybe I never will be but ).

So if its on a private server, Blizzard cannot detect it?

Private Server is like a realm, made by a normal person like you and me.. Blizzard cannot ban you for this and you don't have to pay either on private servers..

The downsides are: Not much people, sometimes higher lag than "official".
Upsides: You can some places be higher lvl, get funstuff, travel a lot faster via portals etc

Btw i think Tele to Plane is nice too
