    What Blizz uses

Ok so I was searching around www.worldofwarcraft.com and I went the hyperlink to the page talking about silvermoon ( at the bottom of the main page). What I found was awsome. One of the pictures on the page was that of an object being designed and there at the top of the picture was none other than the programs name. Drum roll please...

    The programs name is...

    autodesk 3ds max 8 SP3

They might have changed to ver 9 now (not sure). Oh and i researched it. It is a valid program and can be bought. The downside is that it costs about $600. Also it is possible that it needs a certian language inputted in to be able to edit the wmos ( not sure)

P.S. this may be a ploy to keep hackers from thinking they know what blizz uses (highly unlikely though)

    Re: What Blizz uses

kinda misleading title, i thought it was something about detecting hackers or whatever.. this is pretty straight forward, most games are modeled with 3dsmax

We can EDIT Models. Like building a nice ladder to get on unknown areas. Its possible to unpack and pack new mpqs. I also think they use a special inputed language for their models, but maybe we gonna find it out!

Think about WE could make models and areas for wow, there could be completely new designed addons for WoW-Private Servers and much more. Or we could build an airbridge over complete azeroth

    Re: What Blizz uses

Why I orignally posted this is that it could lead to us editing .wmo files and so on. All I have ever seen on this site is people talking about .m2 files. Just imagine what could be done. For example if we had the Blizz code for terrain files and wmos we could make a whole knew world

I have the 3DS Max to M2... But I do not know how it works. I got it off of www.curse-gaming.com once before but I can't use it but if anyone wants it here it is.
