How can I change textures?

In one of my previous posts in WoW Exploits I've learned how to finally edit models and change how they look... However I still do not know how to change the textures of these models if anyone could give me a step by step it would help me alot as well as helping others who also want to know this. Thanks

PS: Does anyone know where I can download a free movie recorder for recording my own WoW movies?

When I click the link it says:

errrr.... thats to change the weapon, (I think) Dregonx means changing your character model, so from a Night Elf Male to a Demon Hunter, for example
