I looked up and asked a WoW GM if Private Servers were Illegal,they said this...
"Private servers are illegal, they are making an Illegal copy of WoW!"
But...
I asked a person high in the Blizzard company and he said
"I think private servers are a good thing for blizzard, they may not be paying the monthly fee, but they do buy the game dont they?!?!"
Pretty weird huh? So if somehow a GM finds out about ur server and if u advertise on real WoW and get banneed, tell blizzard, they'll give u a pat on the back and un-ban u! I have done this!

Why exactly would you be doing this?
That's like going to McDonalds and telling everyone that you have pizza and cheeseburgers at your house, and expecting tons of people to come. Then you get kicked out of McDonalds.
